Who is a consumer?

A consumer is a person who buys goods or hires services for a consideration that is paid, promised, partly paid, or under deferred payment terms. It also includes any user or beneficiary of such goods or services with the buyer’s or hirer’s approval. However, a person acquiring goods or services for resale or commercial purposes is not considered a consumer.

Our services include drafting and issuing legal notices to the opposite party, clearly setting out the grievance and demanding corrective action. This step is often crucial in resolving disputes without initiating formal litigation.

Filing and Conducting Consumer Complaints

If the issue remains unresolved, we assist in filing consumer complaints before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Meerut. This involves preparing detailed complaints, compiling documents, attending hearings, making legal submissions, and managing the procedure throughout the case.

Appeals and Revisions

Where a party is dissatisfied with the outcome before the District Commission, we provide support in filing appeals or revision petitions before the State or National Consumer Commissions, as applicable.
